Black Coffee & More Criticised For Visiting Israel

Grammy winner Black Coffee and more South African stars have been criticized for visiting Israel.

Many years back, Grammy winner and renowned South African DJ made headlines for visiting Israel. According to recent reports, South Africa has demanded that Israel cease fire in Gaza in an application sent to the International Court of Justice (ICJ).

Unfortunately, some of SA’s high-profile celebs have turned a blind eye to the news because they’ve been known to visit the country in the past. Among them is Black Coffee, who, in 2018, received criticism for his trip there. Social media users have recently taken to the X app to remind everyone of the celebs who once visited the “Apartheid State.”

Black Coffee clapped back in 2018 following criticism of his Tel Aviv performance. Anele Mdoda also replied after getting slammed. She wrote, “Israel is beautiful. Please do not post your political babble on my page. I am not saying the politics here is pretty. I am saying the land is beautiful. Please respect my page and my opinions.”

Former Miss SA Lalela Mswane was also criticized for attending the Miss Universe pageant in Eilat, Israel, in 2021. Others include Mandla Mandela, Zakes Bantwini, Shashi Naidoo, and more.
