Celebrated international disc jockey and producer Black Coffee has been nominated for the Grammy Awards.

The South African musician’s album “Subconsciously” was nominated in the Best Dance/Electronic Album category alongside works by Major Lazer, Marshmellow, and Illenium.

An excited Black Coffee shared the news on his Twitter channel, registering his excitement and surprise with the words “Wow” and a couple of praying hands emojis.

On his Instagram page, he shared a similar message, noting he had no words to express about his nomination. The album that earned him the nomination for the 64th Grammy had several notable figures as guests, including Pharrell.
