Recently, South African TV personality, Babalwa Mnemo, took to Twitter to implore the Minister of Arts and Culture, Nathu Mthethwa, that Black Coffee should be regarded as a national treasure since he represents the country in several parts of the world. She believes that a notable personality like Black Coffee is too special to wait in queues to obtain a visa. To her, DJ Black Coffee should be issued a diplomatic passport.

However, some Twitter users have explained that a diplomatic passport is not a status symbol, and does not guarantee that there would be no queues.

Black Coffee is a DJ and producer that is highly respected in Mzansi and several countries of the world.
