Celebrated South African disc jockey and producer Black Coffee has got big plans for struggling students and he’s keen the world should know. The “Drive” star is out to raise R3 million for struggling students in the next two weeks.
Black Coffee has joined a campaign that aims to crowdfund struggling students. He joins a host of other celebs participating in the initiative which goes by the hashtag #FamTagYouIt.
The songster made known his plans to partake in the initiative in a recent tweet which you can check out below.
The #FamTagYouIt campaign has provoked excited among students in South Africa. The Rainbow Nation was recently engulfed in academic crisis when students poured into the streets demanding that fees must fall. A bystander had been shot and killed by the police during the standoff with students, leading to outrage from the public.
By the way, this isn’t the first time Black Coffee has taken an initiative that would benefit the public. Back in 2020, in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic, the songster had joined a campaign to raise funds for coronavirus relief.
