Black Lives Matter: Sharon Osbourne Demands Refund Of $900K Donation

The Black Lives Matter advocacy is seriously in the news again. This time it has nothing to do with an insensate cop and an innocent man but a demand for a refund by media personality Sharon Osbourne, who had reportedly made financial contributions to the advocacy.

The prelude to her outburst was the rapper Kanye West’s recent social media antics, including wearing a shirt with the inscription “White Lives Matter” and calling the “Black Lives Matter” advocacy a scam on his verified Instagram page.

Questioned regarding the “Donda” rapper’s take on the advocacy, she readily concurred that it is indeed a scam. She didn’t stop there, though.

She went on to state that she gave $900k to the advocacy and would really want her money back, “please.” She gave no reason for demanding a refund. However, she still referenced Kanye West’s short and the furore it has generated, wondering why white lives don’t matter. “We all matter, don’t we?” She had asked.

Anyway, it remains to be seen if she will indeed get the refund she asked for. If that should happen, it would be a significant precedent. And it might open the gates to similar requests from those who might have donated to the advocacy.
