“Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” is now the most-watched Marvel movie premier on Disney+.

We love to see the new Black Panther movie breaking and setting new records. It just set another one. According to Disney+, “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” is the most-watched Marvel movie premiere on the platform based on hours streamed in its first five days.

The company shared the news on Monday. The blockbuster film, directed by Ryan Coogler, was released on Disney+ on February 1st, after its theatrical debut on November 11. According to numbers calculated by the company (which have yet to be revealed), the film racked up the biggest streaming numbers for a Marvel film debut.

The film also bagged five Academy Awards nominations, including “Best Supporting Actress” for Angela Bassett. The sequel takes place following the death of the Black Panther, King T’Challa (played by the late Chadwick Boseman), and his people grieving his demise while fighting to protect their nation.
