Popular duo Blaq Diamond has opened up about leaving Ambitiouz Entertainment.
For years now, popular Mzansi record label, Ambitiouz Entertainment has lost some of their top artists. Big names including Amanda Black, Emtee, Sjava and more have all exited the label. Mzansi was shocked to hear that it’s been months since duo, Blaq Diamond left too.
In a recent episode of “Podcast And Chill” with Mac G, the “Summer Yo Muthi” hitmakers revealed that they’re now fully independent. They shared that they’ve been away from the label since December 2021. When asked why, they shared that it was majorly a decision of growth.
They stated that the label did not want them to part from them but it was decision of either staying or growing. According to them, they wanted to break into tye African market. They also shared that they had to involve lawyers to do it the right way. Check out a snippet of the interview below.
