It’s a season of Blood And Water again. Three claps for Season 3, if you please. Tough times are here, though, or so the trailer of the season indicates.
Since its debut, the South African series, which stars the likes of Ama Qamata, Khosi Ngema, Gail Mabalane, and Thabang Molaba, has captured the attention of the movie-loving public.
When it popped on Netflix in 2020, it had a six-episode season, which many described as charming and explosive. And for some viewers, that was reason enough to stick with the high school series and see what the scriptwriters and producers might have in store next.
Season 2 flew like a dream. And now, to the raptures of many followers of the series, Netflix has announced season three with a trailer. While announcing the latest episode, Netflix was somewhat laconic but pandered to imagery in the following words: “same friends, fresh blood, new waters.”
Blood And Water is a favourite with many South African viewers, and with what the producers have announced, as well as the teaser, it’s hard not to expect viewer commitment and engagement into the third season
according to Netflix, Blood & Water Season 3 will premiere on the platform on November 25, 2022. Y’all ready?
