Blood Sisters Premiere: Nollywood Stars Turn Up In Red (Photos)

It was a reunion of sorts and a night to remember as Nollywood veterans and A-listers turned up for the premiere of Blood Sisters, a Netflix Original.

Featured in the flick are veterans like Uche Jombo, Ramsey Nouah, Segun Arinze, Joke Silva and Kate Henshaw.

Created by Mo Abudu’s EbonyLife Studios, Blood Sisters tells the story of, well, two blood sisters and the challenges of their relationship.

For the flick’s premiere, the theme was “red and fugitive,” and the actors showed up appropriately.

Uche Jombo was not only happy to be a part of the cast but a part of those who showed up for the red carpet event as well. In a clip posted to her Instagram page, she’d revealed her encounter on the red carpet with those instrumental to the creation of Blood Sisters.

Also, in the caption to the post, she’d thanked fans for the love and support showed not just to her but the flick as well. As far as she’s concerned, there are no minor roles, only small actors.

Nigeria’s minister of information, Lai Mohammed, was also at the premiere, and he praised the launch as an example of the growth of Nigeria’s creative industry.
