Good news for fans of incarcerated rapper, Bobby Shmurda, the rap star could be getting an early release next month. Named Ackquille Pollard, Bobby who was initially meant to be released at the end of the year (on December 11, 2021) seems to be getting out sooner rather than later.
The news was shared by The Shade Room. According to information shared on the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision website, Shmurda has received a conditional release date of February 23rd. Indeed, this is amazing news. Back in September last year, the “Hot Ni**a” star was denied parole due to his behaviour in jail.
They including 11 violations for drug possession, fighting, and also having a shank. Bobby is reportedly going on his sixth year behind bars. The 26 year old is currently serving at New York’s Clinton Correctional facility. He pled guilty to one count of third-degree conspiracy and one count of weapons possession back in September of 2016.
Although he was initially sentence to 6 to 7 years in prison in 2016, he has been behind bars since December, 2014. We also hear the rap star has got so much to achieve when he finally tastes Freedom.
