Bobby V, Pleasure P, And Sammie Receive Harsh Criticism From Ray J For Stealing His Verzuz Performance

During his rendition of “One Wish” at the fight between Omarion and Mario Verzuz, Ray J said he “missed a couple notes.” During Thursday night’s (June 23) Verzuz showdown between Omarion and Mario, Ray J briefly lost it on stage. The “I Hit It First” singer joined Bobby V on a team as a special guest for the evening.

Prior to the main event, the couple was competing against Pleasure P & Sammie, two more R&B performers. The atmosphere was a little tense as Ray J ascended the stage to sing “One Wish,” one of his biggest hits. Ray J advised his rivals not to step on his toes before the match.

He warned the others, “If you singing on my shit fam, it’s gon’ be a problem.” Sammie said, “I will never sing when you sing, I’m a soloist,” before expressing his enthusiasm for the music. Nonetheless, Ray J started singing, albeit it seems he didn’t warm up his vocal beforehand, and it was obvious he was having difficulties with some of the high notes.

Even his infant was brought out for the song, and he sang while holding him in his arms. “My wife don’t want no randoms watching the kids,” explained the singer.
