Entries for the Miss South Africa beauty pageant are now open, with those who consider themselves beautiful encouraged to apply.
Organisers of the event announced this much in a recent post via their official X account. Since the announcement was made, other figures, famous and not quite so, have amplified the message.
Among those who have shared the message of entries being open is Bonang Matheba. She is not a beauty queen herself but is a beauty in her own right and a notable host too. So she could as well find herself hosting something related to the show. But that’s by the way.
Her share was declamatory, with two exclamation marks. Last we checked, the post had been liked over 450 times, with several comments to the hilt, as you can see below.

The Miss South Africa beauty pageant has been a lifeline of sorts to several ladies from poor or undistinguished backgrounds, who have gone on to either win or reach the finals, earning a place in the hearts of millions in South Africa and beyond.
