Bonang Matheba’s Alleged Return to Metro FM Gets Negative Reactions

Mzansi reacts negatively to former radio star Bonang Matheba’s rumoured return to Metro FM after leaving in 2017.

Bonang Matheba is undeniably one of the most influential people ever on the radio. The star left Metro FM in 2017 and has since been making money moves back to back. According to a Twitter post by @DonaldMakhasane, it is alleged that Bonang would be back on Metro FM alongside Tbo Touch and LootLove.

The tweet read,

“Bonang makes it back to Radio. The queen will be joining Loot love to make a team with Tbo Touch in the afternoon drive.”

Unfortunately, fans did not seem eager to see this become a reality. While you’d expect everyone to be excited about it, they said they would prefer new talent. They stated that while it was evident that B was a great choice, they would rather hear someone new on Metro FM.

@16_Baby10 replied, “This thing of recycling fossils instead of giving new talent an opportunity is boring. When we say open the industry level, we’re being ridiculous. Bonang had her trial run bandla.”

@kenyamoorestan wrote, “When Bonang is securing all TV shows nithi she’s been in the industry she should let new talent shine, when she’s not doing any gigs nithi she fell off. Kanti nimfunani?”
