Fans of Bongile Mantsai can’t keep calm following the news that the talented actor has joined Mzansi’s first isiXhosa telenovela, “Gqeberha: The Empire.” We hear he will be playing Luzuko’s brother, Hlumelo. The announcement was made by the Eastern Cape show on social media, and everyone was left anticipating.
Fans and viewers of the show are already predicting what his role would entail. Some say he will be Thulani (Tembinkosi Ngcukana) and Nabomi’s biological father. This is because his brother Luzuko is infertile. Some are also hoping that he replaced Luzuko (played by Mbulelo Grootboom) because they don’t find his character interesting enough.
