Bongile Mantsai joins ‘Red Ink’

Famous Mzansi actor Bongile Mantsai, known for his role as Hlumelo in “Gqeberha: The Empire,” has landed a new role in the Showmax drama series “Red Ink.”

So far this year, we have been proud to see some of our favourite actresses and actors landing new roles in hit shows and series. The year is certainly looking good for many talented entertainers in the country.

Bongile Mantsai is the latest actor making the news for bagging a new role. The actor previously made headlines when he landed the role of Hlumelo Mxenge in the hit show “Gqeberha: The Empire.” According to recent reports, he has scored the role of KK in the Showmax drama series “Red Ink.”

That’s huge, and his fans are very proud of him. The news was reported by Entertainment Influencer Phil Mphela on the X app. He wrote,

“Bongile Mantsai in new series. Mantsai starring in the new Showmax series called Red Ink as “KK.” Bomb Productions produced is an adaptation of Angela Makholwa’s book. The series is set to premiere on Showmax this February.”

Bona also reports that the film (like the story in the novel) is set in Johannesburg. We will certainly be seated for this one.
