Bonnie Mbuli Opens Up About Her American Accent

Popular actress Bonnie Mbuli has opened up about her American accent.

Bonnie Mbuli is not going to be bullied by anyone. The star has been constantly criticized for her American accent by fans in Mzansi but she isn’t letting it get to her. She recently shared a video where she addressed the criticism she gets.

According to her, local rappers in Mzansi do not get criticized for theirs. The star also compared herself with Tyla and Trevor Noah and said she is growing her talent on an international level, and that’s why she has an accent. She said,

“It’s part of my toolbox, I’m an actress. I said I wanted to compete on the global stage, so I will do what is required. I didn’t come to America to fool around, and there’s no one in Hollywood waiting to cater to my South African accent.”

Her fans and fellow celebs came to her defence and reminded her that they loved her that way. Radio star Hulisani Ravele showed her love, “At. The. Highest. Level. Bonnie Mbuli! One of one! You’re such a boss, always have been, and always will be.”

Zenande Mfenyana replied, “You had me at ‘Toolbox,’ please, man! Flourish, Bonnie. Work sister, work for your children.”
