It was like bringing the dead back to life. The reactions were instant and many recalled Nakedi Ribane’s times from the 80s and what impact she made on South TV space.

Back when Bophelo Ke Semphekgo was the in-thing in South African TV, Nakedi Ribane was also one of the notable figures, playing the role of Senthaolele.

In the latest pictures of her shared on Twitter. South Africans were wowed by her she had aged gracefully (she is currently 66 years). Besides recalling her role in the Bophelo Ke Semphekgo, some even compared her to Brooke Logan.
