It’s a depressing period for Brenden Praise following the loss of his album and other projects in a heist in Sandton.
In a recent post, the songster claimed his car was broken into while he was having a coffee date with his daughter and his Mac, containing his entire album and Mpoomy’s songs, stolen.
The loss made him depressed but he had the presence of mind to urge his fans – and whoever would listen – to be safe out there and never to leave valuables in the car. Ever.
If you’re thinking this is an April fool’s joke, especially given that he’s taken down the tweet about the theft, you’re not alone. But then the post wasn’t made on the 1st of April but a day before – 31 March.

By the way, Brenden praise recently treated fans to a single titled “Mukutsuri” with Mphow Wav after sharing a teaser on social media. The song follows his “Here Again” tune.
