The wins continue for Miss Univers South Africa, Bryoni Govender, who has just been named as one of the Top 10 silver finalists in Miss Universe 2023’s Voice For Change.
The Voices for Change is an international movement with partnerships cutting across the Miss Universe Organisation and CI Talk. It provides a platform to showcase courses supported by this year’s contestants, creating a hub for others to find inspiration while also contributing to a better world.
Govender’s inclusion on the top 10 list was as much a triumph for her as it was for South Africans, most of whom popped into social media platforms to celebrate the milestone in her run as a beauty queen
Govender had a chance to speak at the occasion, drawing attention to Her Way Out, an advocacy of her creation to educate women on their legal rights. For this initiative, she had partnered with the law firm Norton Rose Fulbright to make for easy access to justice for women.
By the way, Govender is also an ambassador for Lawyers against Abuse (LvA)., a public benefit organization whose legal objectives align with the advocacy she is pursuing on her own. Well, congratulations are in order for Govender, Miss Universe SA.
