BTS Electrifies Grammy Audience With Great Performance, Flirts With Olivia Rodrigo

The Grammy Awards might be over – for some, anyway – but the memory of BTS’s performance continues to resonate with many who followed the event on Sunday, April 3.

Known for its ambitious dance moves, BTS reenacted the same, with energy that was hard to miss, as they performed their second English language single, “Butter.” The performance mirrored a heist and was simply electrifying. The rapturous reception the boys got was enough indication the audience was more than chuffed.

The obvious flirting with celebrated singer Olivia Rodrigo wasn’t lost on the audience. It became a talking point among those who watched the group’s performance in Las Vegas.

South Korea has many bands. But on the global stage, BTS stands out the most. The group, which comprises the friends Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, has a massive online and offline following.

One of the group’s members, J-Hope, recently came down with coronavirus. To the joy of most of the group’s fans, however, he recovered quickly and announced that he’d be joining his BTS pals for a performance at the 64th Grammy Awards. He lived up to that promise.

He popped on stage alongside his pal, and the result is a performance that has remained the talk of town.
