Things are about to turn pretty “Delicious” as Nigerian singer Damini Ogulu aka Burna Boy joins other musicians for a festival dubbed, well, “Delicious.”
The DStv Delicious International Food and Music Festival is currently the talk of town, being an event that brings together several fine artists from around the world and treats concertgoers to delicious music for days on end.
The festival will last two days and feature performances from local and international acts. Nigeria’s Burna Boy will be on the main stage on Saturday, September 24. On that same day, artists like Duno Bravo, the veteran kwaito collective The Trompies, Mdu Masilela, Kabelo Mabalane, Thebe, Arthur Mafokate and others will also perform.
The Grammy-winning musician Babyface will headline the show the following day, Sunday, September 25. Also slated to perform on that day are the collective Digable Planets and local solo musicians like Uncle Vinny, Oskido, Christos, DJ Ganyani and DJ Fresh.
By the way, the headliner Burna Boy already has a lot planned this month. He recently released an album named for him, “Love, Damini,” and he’s planned an extensive tour to promote the project. However, he would be done early enough to perform live at the DStv Delicious International Food and Music Festival.
