Burna Boy Complains About Losing Grammy Award To Zakes Bantwini & Nomcebo

The Grammys have come and gone but not everyone is happy about the outcome and that includes Nigerian singer Burna Boy. The songster won a Grammy last year but was overlooked for this year’s award, and isn’t happy about it.

This year’s Grammy for Best Global Music Performance award was given to Zakes Bantwini, Nomcebo Zikode and Wouter Kellerman. But Burna felt the award should have gone to him because he was more deserving of it.

In what appears to be a screenshot taken from Burna Boy’s story, the songster is seen writing that the Grammy is messed up and that it is obvious no one deserves the Grammy award in the category won by Nomcebo and co but him.

Despite not having won, he also made it clear in the same post that nothing can stop him. Not now or ever. You can check out the post below.

A look across social media shows that some of his fans shared his sentiments and some consoled him with words that his career is still bubbling and he has a chance to win the award next year and beyond.

The Grammys have been riddled with controversies for a long time and Burna Boy is not the first – nor would he be the last – to complain.
