Nigerian musician and “African Giant” Burna Boy has just implied that his South African counterpart Nasty C is way better than most American rappers.
In a recent interview, Burna Boy, who won his first ever Grammy this year, stated that he would put his money on Nasty C over any American rapper, indirectly revealing he’s a big fan of the “Zulu Man With Some Power.” See the video below.

He also thrashed claims that Nasty C is an afrobeat artiste, clarifying that being an African musician does not necessarily mean one plays afrobeats. He made it clear that Nasty C does hip hop and should thus be recognized as a rapper.
By the way, Nasty C is currently in the United States. His going to the country was part of the deal he signed with Def Jam Africa last year. He would have gone earlier, but the coronavirus delayed his plans.
Now in the States, he’s been rolling with some of America’s top talents, including hip hop veteran Snoop Dogg, making denizens of Mzansi proud.
