Boity asks for a whopping settlement sum from Bujy following highly publicized altercation.
Not too long ago, Mzansi was stunned to see photos of rapper and businesswoman, Boity Thulo drenched in blood as she made her way into the hospital. According to reports, she and former Metro FM on-Air personality, Bujy Bikwa had gotten into an altercation that later turned physical.
It was revealed that Bujy had thrown a bottle of alcohol at the “Own Your Throne” star, leaving her with injuries. She had further retaliated by suing him for assault with the intent to cause bodily harm. Bujy, after receiving the lawsuit, responded with a counter suit.
According to an inside source, Boity’s lawyers approached Bujy’s and revealed that she wants to settle it out of court. She is reportedly asking for R1million for loss of income due to her injuries. However Mzansi believes he cannot afford to pay it.
The source said;
“Boity asked for R1 million, which she says is for loss of income due to her injuries. She says she couldn’t work because she had to undergo surgery. Bujy, on the other hand, claims that he also lost income due to spending seven days in prison after his arrest. Boity’s lawyers approached Bujy’s lawyers the next day when he appeared in court and told them that she wanted to settle out of court. Bujy received the official letters when he was released on bail the following week. He opened a counter-case of assault against Boity.”
