Cape Town Stabbing: Lerato Kganyago Calls Out Bolt

South African media personality Lerato Kganyago has called out the ride-hailing service Bolt after its driver allegedly stabbed two women passengers in Table View, Cape Town.

The incident, described as an example of gender-based violence, reverberated across South Africa, with people sharing their thoughts on it, from calling for the boycott of Bolt to the prosecution and dismissal of the driver.

Well, one of those who spoke about the incident was Lerato Kganyago. In a clip currently making the rounds online, she could be seen calling out Bolt over the incident.

Many other South Africans joined her in the comment section of the post, asking the company to address the situation, as well as dismiss the drivers from the ride-hailing platform. You can check out the post below.

At the time of writing, it is said that the driver has reported himself to the police. it is unclear what made him stab the ladies. Equally unclear at this point is where the case will lead.

By the way, this isn’t the first time that a ride-hailing service has been called out for the action of one of its employees. It’s happened sporadically in the past and will likely still happen in the coming days.
