The “WAP” video was a collaborative work between Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B – hitherto thought adversaries. Kylie Jenner had a cameo role in the video which popped online Sunday (2 days ago).
When some fans noticed Kylie Jenner made it to the video, which some moralists have denounced as salacious, they asked that she be edited out. A petition to have her removed from the video circulated popped on change.org and in no time received over 64,000 signatures.
In a since-deleted tweet, Cardi B explained why she had Kylie Jenner on the “WAP” video. According to her, her husband Offset is close to Kylie Jenner’s ex, Travis. Also, she said Kylie Jenner had done well by her sister and daughter.
Vulture quoted her as saying: “Why did I put Kylie on my music video? She treated my sister and daughter so lovely at her kid bday party. Travis and Set are real close and Kris Jenner have giving me advice on certain things I ask for and her husband real cool with mine.”
