Rap star Cardi B finally confirms her breakup with husband Offset.
For years, we have watched Hip Hop stars Cardi B and Offset break up and makeup. But it seems to be finally over this time. The “Bodak Yellow” star hinted that there was trouble in paradise when she shared some cryptic posts on social media.
She wrote about getting rid of dead weight. “…and when it comes to dead weight, I’ll say mentality, procrastination, laziness, and people. A lot of people are dead weight, too. Next year, it’s gonna be all about me.”
She wrote in another post, “You know when you just outgrow relationships. I’m tired of protecting people’s feelings…I GOTTA PUT MYSELF FIRST.” Fans also noticed that the power couple had unfollowed each other on social media.
In an Instagram Live session, Cardi officially confirmed their split. She said, “I don’t know if y’all have been getting clues from me from my Live. I mean, or from my Instagram stories, where I put certain music. When it comes to events and stuff, I don’t think it’s true. I don’t care to find out because I’ve been single for a minute now.”
“But I’ve been afraid, not afraid. I just don’t know how to tell the world.” She said she had wanted to tell her fans when she last went Live but couldn’t. Offset is rumoured to have had an affair with Chrisean Rock.
