Cardi B Sentenced Over 2018 Strip Club Fight

Every day the sun won’t shine, but that’s why I love tomorrow. Those were Cardi B’s words following her court appearance, where she was sentenced to 15 days of community service. It was obvious she was looking on the bright side of life, even though she didn’t put the words in the best way.

But heck, we’re not pedants.

Cardi B pleaded guilty to third degree assault as well as reckless endangerment during her court appearance. The case dates back to 2018 when she had a fight in a strip club.

She was initially indicted in 2019 on 12 count charges, including two counts of felony and attempted assault. In the said incise, she and her entourage had allegedly thrown furniture recklessly, injuring an employee on the feet.

The cops had noted at the time that the “WAP” rapper had instigated the fight, which members of her team carried on.

Reacting to the verdict of the court, Cardi B admitted having made some bad decisions in the past but also stated that they don’t define her. She’s looking forward to honouring the court’s decision and then getting back to doing what she loves most — sharing the music with her fans.

Yeah, life must go on.
