Award-winning American rapper, Cardi B, is on the way to completing the final work on her sophomore album.
The I Like It hitmaker has revealed that she would soon complete the follow-up to her debut album titled, ‘Invasion of Privacy.’ She just has a couple of songs to complete for the album to be finalized.
The Grammy-winning rapper revealed the project update while in an interview with Baller Alert. She said:
I have my cool, calm, and collected songs, just missing a couple of more club hits. But we getting there.
Cardi B has not revealed the official date of its release. She said:
I can never put a date on it ‘cause when you feel that you got those songs, that’s when it’s gonna come out. I cannot put a date on my ears. When I feel like I have it, that’s when.

The rapper gave us a hint of what we should be expecting last month. She posted the teaser of a new song and she rapped on the Wheezy-produced track. We could hear ‘Shake, earthquake.’

In Cardi B’s vogue story, the rapper expressed the pressure she is facing, following her highly-anticipated album.
The ‘Love & Hip Hop: New York’ star told the magazine:
So it’s scary because it’s like, now you got to top your first album, and then it’s like, damn. I wonder if people are gonna relate to the new things, to the new life, to the new shit I gotta talk about now.
Cardi B’s upcoming album, which she had once titled, ‘Tiger Woods,’ is the follow-up of her debut album, ‘Invasion of Privacy,’ released in 2018. The album has earned a name in Billboard history as the longest-charting debut album from a female.
