“Cassper and I started Amapiano in West Africa” says Kiddominant

Nigerian hitmaker Kiddominant said that he and Cassper Nyovest started Amapiano in West Africa.

Is it just us, or do the origins of Amapiano always bring up arguments? Remember when Kabza De Small named his album “King of Amapiano,” and many producers and DJs in SA took offense?

The same thing is currently happening in Nigeria. It all began after a fan claimed that Davido brought Amapiano to Nigeria and was corrected by DJ Maphorisa. Phori revealed that the first time Amapiano spread to Nigeria was when Wizkid and Burna Boy joined Kabza, him, and Cassper on the hit “Sponono.”

This prompted a funny reply by Davido, who claimed Phori had never liked him. Nigerian producer, Kiddominant has now reacted to the drama. In a tweet, he claimed that he and Cassper brought Amapiano to West Africa when they collaborated on “eWallet.” Remember when Kiddo came to SA to study the sound? He could be right.
