One of the big issues several artists face is getting radio air plays. Most artists struggle to ensure that their songs are played on radio stations.
The ‘Move For Me’ rapper will be one of the first set of names to be called when listing successful artists in Mzansi and even with that, the talented rapper still has issues with radio air-plays.
The ‘Good For That’ hitmaker revealed that in the seven years of his musical career, he has been struggling with topping charts on the biggest radio stations in Mzansi.
Cassper Nyovest is making progress as YFM radio station has assisted him in working his way through this platform.
The award-winning rapper appreciated YFM station on his Twitter page for being the only radio station that has played his hit single titled, ‘Good For That,’ several times as compared to other radio stations.

Cassper had posed complaints back in 2017 on radio stations not playing his songs. Kaizer Kganyago, the former SABC spokesperson, had stated that each station chose playlists that they feel will be appropriate for their audience.

It does not matter who you are or whether you are well-known, your music has to be submitted to a station for consideration. A committee will then look at a number of factors, including whether the song is any good and whether it fits in the target market of the station.
