Family Tree rapper Cassper Nyovest flew off the handle following an encounter with Lavida Nota.
Lavida Nota has strong views about Mzansi music and musicians, some of which are unpopular. Recently, Lavida Nota went on a wild Twitter rant about local and international acts, dragging Cassper Nyovest into it.
According to Lavida Nota, “BongiNkosi,” Cassper Nyovest’s collaborative work with Zola 7, was a failure. He described the song as having ruined the kwaito legend Zola 7’s legacy. Interestingly, the said song is one of the songs with most user engagement and vetting from the recently released “Any Minute Now (AMN)” album.
At the outset Cassper Nyovest said nothing. When he decided to speak, however, he denounced Lavida Nota as a fraudster, urging people to stop entertaining and gassing up fraudsters. You can check out the clip below.
Stop entertaining and gassing up fraudsters. We deserve an apology as a nation from all the fraudsters embarrassing us. Hahaha! Wa phapha jou moer! pic.twitter.com/lnp9fvMZUe

By the way, Lavida Nota also scoffed at the music of Nasty C, stating that the “Zulu Man With Some Power” needs to get help making music because his release are below par. He ended up saying Costa Titch, another South African rapper, makes better music than Nasty C and Cassper Nyovest.
