Family Tree boss Cassper Nyovest has been dragged by social media denizens after he announced the loss of a friend to depression. The unnamed friend had taken his own life and Cassper had commented on it on Twitter.
In a tweet, he asked those suffering from depression to get help. While admitting that depression is real, he insisted that it can be beaten. You can check out his tweet below.

Some fans were unimpressed about the “Any Minute Now (AMN)” rapper’s tweet, and they accused him of making the friend’s death about himself. One Twitter user even wondered why Cassper last spoke to the friend who killed himself as a result of depression.

It’s unknown if the said friend was a musician. But this isn’t the first time the songster has lost a friend to depression.
In fact, Cassper Nyovest had years back lost his mentor Jabulani HHP Tsambo to depression. After several suicide attempts as a result of depression, Jabba had eventually succeeded. At the time, Cass had expressed regret in not having checked much on Jabba before his death.
