It has been a fulfilling week for South African singer Master KG. His “Jerusalema” music video recently hit 100 million views on YouTube. Also, another of his prayers, that of seeing Portuguese footballer Christiano Ronaldo share his song, was fulfilled.
The soccer star shared the song yesterday 1 September 202o. Master KG was excited about this milestone and indicated that much in a tweet.
In another tweet, he encouraged his fans to help him reach 200k followers on Twitter. The songster currently has 147.1k followers on the platform.
Some fans find the plea for new followers amusing. Some even told him to his face that they would only follow him if he followed them back.
Besides the plea for new followers, Master KG is equally keen to get the Twitter verification badge. He said he has been trying to get it without success. Some fans encouraged him to seek the aid of his compatriot and much older musician Oskido.
Right now, however, Twitter has indicated it has suspended the verification exercise until further notice.
