DJ Euphonik and Family Tree boss Cassper Nyovest have expressed support for the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF’s) call for more South Africans to be vaccinated instead of locking down the country and causing suffering among the populace.
In a tweet, EFF’s Mbuyiseni Ndlozi had state that for normal educational, religious and political life to return, there must be speedy delivery of vaccines. He encouraged the government to look at China and Russia for vaccines instead of being focused on the West, which he claims has not the interest of Africa at heart.
Euphonik had merely retweeted the demands by the political party.
On his part, Cassper Nyovest had added a comment, stating that it is no political statement, and that he need not be a member of any political party to agree that people are dying and that lives and livelihoods needed to be saved. He affirmed his support for the EFF’s call so that the country will be back to normal, and safe.
This is not a pololitical statement. I don't have to be a member of any political party to agree that people are dying & we need to save lives & livelihoods! We have lost lives & jobs!!! The country needs to be vaccinated & I support this call!! We want our country back and safe! https://t.co/lXMrYFeRqN
