SA Hip Hop star Cassper Nyovest scored himself a feature on Talib Kweli and Madlib’s new album “Liberation 2.”
Cassper Nyovest always makes big moves, and that’s one reason to keep loving him. The famous emcee is reported to be featured on Talib Kweli and Madlib’s new album “Liberation 2.” It is a follow-up to the first one which was released in 1996.
In a comment to Hype Beast, the hitmakers said, “People today are taking stock of what is most important — family, health, wellness, love. The materialism and debauchery that is stereotypically associated with hip hop has lost some of its luster. Madlib and I have been consistent in our messaging. Never has there been a better time for such honest, message driven music that pays tribute to the sounds that came before us.”
Cassper announced the feature on Twitter. With Seun Kuti, Cass contributed to a song named “Nat Turner.” He revealed that he recorded his verse in December 2022, and a music video for the song was filmed in Ghana. “Liberation 2” is only available on Luminary, a subscription podcast network.
