Cassper Nyovest Keen To Organize Burna Boy & Shatta Wale Boxing Match

At the rate Cassper Nyovest is immersing himself in the world of boxing, South African rap just might lose him soon. The family Tree boss has just indicated his interest in organizing the boxing match between Shatta Wale of Ghana and Burna Boy of Nigeria.

Shatta Wale had recently criticized Nigeria’s music space for not being as welcoming to Ghanaian stars as Ghana was to Nigerian artistes. Along the line, a rift had developed between him and Burna Boy.

Shatta Wale had challenged the “African Giant” to what might well pass for a Verzuz rap battle, but Burna Boy is only interested in a trade of punches – a boxing match.

In a post, Burna boy said he would only engage Shatta in a fight – something physical and nothing rap. According to him, he wants to see Shatta wale’s teeth and blood somewhere on the floor

And that was when Cassper Nyovest popped into the mix. In a tweet on January 1, Cassper Nyovest had wondered if it was a physical fight or a rap battle. If it is boxing, Cass says he wanna be a part of it.

If a fight should happen and Cass should be a part of it, Cass might be on his way to fulfilling his dream of reviving boxing in Mzansi.
