There are reports that SA Hip Hop star Cassper Nyovest might work with the luxury brand Balmain Paris for their forthcoming launch in South Africa.
We must confess that Cassper Nyovest’s influence is massive. The rap star deserves his flowers for all the work he puts in. He dropped his seventh studio album, “Solomon,” two weeks ago, and fans went nuts.
It has been called his most acclaimed album, succeeding “Thuto” to take the top spot for fans. In one of the tracks titled “Balmain,” Cass rapped about the luxury brand. The song has fast become a favorite for fans on the album.
Not too long after the album dropped, reports dropped that the luxury brand will be opening its first boutique at Sandton City’s Diamond Walk toward the end of September 2023. The news shared by Hypebeast on Instagram read,
“Balmain is set to make its debut in South Africa with the opening of its first boutique in Sandton City’s Diamond Walk.” The announcement brought up the question of whether the move was inspired by Cassper’s new song. However, it seems too soon to have been inspired by the star.
Mufasa also dropped a reaction to the news in the comments section, writing “hmmm.”
