Cassper Nyovest has just taken another shot at his rival AKA again, amplifying the fears of many that there would be no end to their conflict. In a recent response to a fan on Instagram, the Family Tree boss had claimed that Nasty C and Burna Boy saved AKA’s career.
According to Cass, AKA has not had a hit without features. So Burna Boy and, most recently, Nasty C, with whom he had collaborated, are the ones who had actually saved his career. The collaboration with Burna Boy was done years ago – just before they had a falling apart of xenophobia in South Africa.
The collaboration with Nasty goes by the title “Lemons (Lemonade)” and was an instant hit with most fans, with some of them calling it AKA’s best song so far. You can check out Cassper’s controversial comment below.
Cassper Nyovest and AKA have been rivals for pretty much their whole career, each claiming rap supremacy over the other. Their conflict was exacerbated when AKA insulted Casper’s parents. Although he later apologised, Cassper insists on a boxing match to settle it all – something AKA appears unwilling to engage in. maybe the coming days would see them hit the ring. Who knows?
