Cassper Nyovest is still keen to fight rival AKA but he wouldn’t hop into the ring for just a million rand. He would need a bigger payday s that, according to him, he would drive maximum satisfaction from breaking AKA’s jaw.
A fan had asked Cassper Nyovest if he would fight AKA for R1 million. But the “Amademoni” hitmaker had declined the sum, stating he would need much more to fight the songster of the “Fela In Versace” fame.
Cassper Nyovest’s response provoked mixed reactions from his fans. Some thought his response amusing; some thought he was making a fight with his rival impossible with his exorbitant demands.
Caspper Nyovest and AKA have been rival for years. But talks of the two of them settling their rival only emerged in 2020. The pair was to have hit the boxing ring that year, but the coronavirus pandemic altered plans.
In 2021, plans were yet underway for the two of them to fight. AKA claimed to have signed the contract, sharing on social media what appears to be a contract he’s signed and urging Cass to do the same. But then he soon took down the post, provoking mordant snipes from Cassper.
But would the pair eventually fight after their social media quarrels. Some fans are optimistic.
