Family Tree rapper Cassper Nyovest has reached a milestone of one million views with the music video of his song “Nokthula,” featuring Busiswa and Legendary P.
The video, which premiered on YouTube on 1 December 2020, was shot by Cassper Nyovest himself. At the time, he had announced he was so proud of what he has done with the shooting, his first as a video director.
“Nokthula” was a hit with the public. So it isn’t surprising it should reach over a million views on YouTube in just one month of release. In fact, at the time of release, the song had spawned a challenge in South Africa.
Cassper himself was part of the challenged. In a clip shot when he visited the Universal Music Group offices, he had taught his fans how to do the “Nokthula” dance.
With the song reaching a million views, a delighted Cassper had taken to instgram to inform his fans and thank them as well, for watching. You can check out his clip below.
