Another day, another claim against Cassper Nyovest with him trying to clarify things. Remember a while back when Mzansi disc jockeys, Prince Kaybee and DJ Maphorisa engaged in a twar after Phory announced that Kaybee didn’t own his masters? Of course, no one can forget that.
Well, Mufasa had revealed then that he owned all of his music masters. According to him, he learnt that pretty early and it has worked out for him. The “Good For That” rapper had to clarify things for a fan recently after he tweeted his gratitude that Cassper released Thuto when it couldn’t be tainted by a label.
Replying him, the SA Hip-hop star revealed that even though he’s in a deal with Universal Music, he still owns 100% of his music. He described it as a JV partnership. According to him, he pays back every cent the label uses to promote his music.
