Cassper Nyovest Responds To Criticisms Of Copying Tupac With His Billiato Photoshoot

South African rapper Cassper Nyovest has responded to those who accused him of copying Tupac’s style for his photoshoot announcing the first brand ambassador for his Billiato alcohol brand, Toss.

According to the Doc “Shebeleza” chanter, there is nothing new under the sun and he and his partner never hid the fact that they were inspired by 2Pac’s Versace shoot with David LaChapele. People get their inspiration somewhere, and he happened to have gotten his from Tupac, easily one of the greatest rappers of all time.

The controversial shoot showed Toss in the tub with bottles of Billiato lined on the wall. There were different angles to the shoot, conveying a message not just of wealth but of fitness as well.

This isn’t the first time Cassper Nyovest has been dragged over the Billiato brand, though. Previously, the loudmouthed Slik Talk had claimed that the drinks tastes like piss even though it wasn’t officially released at the time he made the claim.

Regardless of all the criticisms, and as Cassper himself admitted, his Billiato brand is doing great in the market. The brand had risen from the 10th position to the fifth, going to the third – something he would say is a symbol of black excellence.
