Multi-award-winning rapper, Cassper Nyovest, has narrated how his relationship with award-winning DJ and record producer, DJ Maphorisa, turned around and how they went from becoming enemies to friends.
After experiencing a long day on the Twitter space with Emtee and some other South African hip hop artists, Cassper Nyovest stated that ‘maturity’ made him and DJ Maphorisa reunite.
The ‘Good For That’ hitmaker stated that their reunion even birthed some popular songs including ‘Good For That,’ ‘Piki Piki,’ ‘Phoyisa,’ ‘Bentley,’ ‘Ocean View,’ and ‘Amalobolo.’
Cassper Nyovest tweeted:
Me and Maphorisa used to be archenemies. It took a few mature conversations and we let it go cause there was mutual respect. That peace gave us the songs Phoyisa, Good for that, Ocean view, Piki Piki, Amalobolo, and now Bentley! Where there is respect things work out.
In other news, notable rappers, Cassper Nyovest and Emtee, recently dissed each other on Twitter.
Mufasa had recently revealed that he had a conflict with Emtee’s manager because of an unfinished collaboration. Afterwards, Emtee allegedly ignored him.
Their rift has become more intense that the award-winning rappers have gone on a Twitter war. Emtee slammed Cassper Nyovest for always thinking about himself only. He stated that Cassper should be happy for those that are making big accomplishment in the hip hop scene.
Cassper Nyovest clapped back at the rapper by warning him to stay in his lane.
