Cassper Nyovest opens up about his come up in BET’s My Side Of The Story, and reveals “Jabba didn’t put me up”.
SA Hip Hop star, Cassper Nyovest is currently one of the biggest artistes in South Africa and the continent. We have all followed his rise to the top, and how he was guided by HHP. Appearing in the recent episode of BET’s My Side Of The Story with Pearl Thusi, he opened up about being helped by Jabba.
He reacted to being asked what comes to mind when he thinks about his come up in the industry, and seeing things like “OpenUpTheIndustry trending. He opened up about how things were at the time of his rise; “viral” did not exist as it does now.
He also revealed that Jabba did not put him on, rather, he helped him. He is quoted saying that he “spoke positively about me when I wasn’t there and he put me next to him, which made people think, hmm.. maybe I need to give this guy a listen“.
