Cassper Nyovest has trolled Costa Titch after the latter performed an amapiano song. It wouldn’t have meant much except that it indicated the Family Tree boss was aware Costa Titch had earlier thrown a shade at him for ditching hip hop for amapiano.
Not long ago, amid a burning debate about South African hip hop being dead, and another narrative that it is actually alive, Cassper Nyovest, who had ditched hip hop at the time, had stated he might drop a hip hop tune soon.
Unimpressed by that, Costa Titch had, without mentioning Cassper’s name, urged him to remain in the piano world, having “jumped ship.”
Well, it was inevitable Cass should fire a shot in his turn. Just recently, Costa Titch had performed a piano song and Cass didn’t let it slide. He used the performance to troll the “Super Soft” hitmaker.
Interestingly, Costa Titch and Cassper Nyovest were once close associates. In fact, at some point, Costa Titch was one of Cassper Nyovest’s dancers. At the moment, though, the songster has built a close working relationship with AKA, Cassper Nyovest’s biggest rival. The two recently released a project titled “You’re Welcome.”
It remains to be seen how Costa Titch will react to Cassper Nyovest’s trolling.
