SA Hip Hop star, Cassper Nyovest slams Twitter troll who criticized the colour of his sneakers.
Since Cassper Nyovest released the first version of his highly anticipated sneaker, Root of Fame 990, he has gotten both positive and negative reviews for it. Of course, that’s expected. However, the Mzansi star has not let it move him.
In updates shared to his social media, it is clear that fans have been buying the new sneaker and crashing the website. This proves that it has been a huge success. However, several people have criticized the colour on social media. A troll recently took to twitter to claim that the colour of the new sneaker would cause a lot of guys to come out of the closet.
He wrote; “Pink Shoes. I see a lot of guys coming out of the closet”
Of course, Mufasa wasn’t going to let that slide. Replying the troll, Cass tweeted; “Brother, it’s 2021. Are you serious?” Several other colours of the Root of Fame 990s have also been unveiled.
