Cassper Nyovest’s Attempt To Write In IsiZulu Leaves Mzansi In Stitches
South African rapper Cassper Nyovest had many of his compatriots laughing out loud over his attempt to write in isiZulu. the muso and his associate Nasty C both released new albums yesterday, and the songster decided to release a post dedicated to himself and the Zulu Man With some Power.
In a post on his verified Instagram page, the songster shared three images. The first showed him and Nasty C in a warm embrace on stage during their joint African Throne album. The second slide showed the songster’s cover art for his “Solomon” album, and the third slide was dedicated to Nasty C’s “I Love It Here” album.
In the caption to his post, Cassper Nyovest wrote a bit of Zulu, followed by English. The Zulu was what captured the most attention. Many people laughed at Cassper, highlighting his poor command of the Zulu language. Even Nasty C was in the comments with a playful jab. “LOL, the spelling is finishing me,” he wrote in the comments. Cassper Nyovest didn’t seem to mind though. He wanted to pass a message and appeared to have done that despite the public making fun of his attempt.
