Ccifsa’s Anele Maki Has Died

According to news reports, a well-known actor and deputy secretary-general of the Creative Cultural Industries Federation of South Africa (CCIFSA), Anele Maki has died. Reports have revealed that Maki died on Wednesday, December 22, in the morning hours after a brief illness. His death was announced by the President of the federation, Joy Mbewana.

Mbewana announced that “It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of Mr. Anele ‘Gimba’ Maki who has been the deputy secretary-general of CCIFSA. Anele was an integral part of CCIFSA and the creative community. We will always remember his tireless efforts to make CCIFSA successful,”. She also revealed that more details on the memorial and funeral service will be announced later. Fans and colleagues have also shared tributes in his honour.
