SA Hip Hop star Sjava celebrates as his album “Isibuko” turns one.
Early last year, Sjava dominated every space following the release of his new album “Isibuko.” It became the start of a big year for the star as the album immediately racked off massive streaming numbers across various platforms. He celebrated it hitting 43 million in June last year.
Returning to the scene recently, the rap star, through his label 1020 Cartel, announced that the album had turned one. He wrote,
“Isibuko is a year old today 🎈 Siyabonga kakhulu for all the love and support.”
He also showed love to his fans, thanking them for their support. He had previously spoken about the album, revealing that it was a reflection of his journey as a person and as a musician. He said,
“This album obviously is a reflection of my journey over the last few years and speaks to my experiences and growth as a person and as a musician.”
Sjava has earned praise from fans. He was one of 2023’s most successful artists. With Big Zulu, Sjava dropped the hit song “Umbayimbayi” and the successful album “Ukhamba.” He also toured the country, performing to excited fans. Congrats to him.
